The Ripley County Courthouse Square.  The Current River Heritage Museum is on the Corner of the Square to the far Left in This Photo.  The Heritage Homestead and the Tom Kennon Blacksmith Shop are One Block South on Franklin Street which exits the Square as shown in the Upper Right of the Photo.

The Courthouse in Downtown Doniphan, Missouri, is the County Seat of Ripley County, Missouri.  It houses the newly remodeled Circuit Courtroom and most of the Offices of County Government.  Built in 1899 the Courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. It has changed little over the years on the outside but has benefitted from interior modifications and modernization.
